Okay, so I?ve finished most of the readings. Only one is still going on, but not for much longer. It?s time to share my findings. I'll put each one in its own post for ease of reading.

I?m going to start with RichC?s crazy a?s and Bran?s. Branflakes and crazy a gave me permission to post her reading, and although RichC didn?t, it?s so bad I didn?t think he?d mind. If Orenda and Chaos Butterfly are okay for me to post their readings here then I will. If not, that?s fine too. So here goes.

    RichC?s reading.

(Note: This reading really is terrible, but in my defence I was put at a disadvantage here. Although I don?t know much about RichC, he has done the psychic dice, and did quite well, as I recall. Since I was avoiding areas where I already had knowledge, this meant I couldn?t guess about grandfathers, M names and the like. I started badly and got worse.)

ME: Okay, let?s begin. First person to come through is a female of, I think, the same age or generation as us. This isn?t family, though, this was someone you knew. She talking about a woman, a Cathy or Karen. A name with a hard K sound. Also, there?s someone you know with a nickname like ?Pokey? or ?Smokey?? And I?m being shown a building, residential flats, with four? no, five floors. Is this the building where you live?

    RC: <>
mmm.... nope. No one I can think of.
    <>
    That hits.
    <>
    Nope.
    <>
    No.
ME: Good. One out of four. Good start. So anyway, are you sure about the ?okey? type name? Maybe it?s a place. I?m still getting that quite strongly. I?m getting a feeling about ?Auntie B?, an aunt or older woman with a B name. I get a feeling we?re talking about childhood here, I get the sense of going back many years. I?m seeing one of those paddling pools you put up in the back garden. Did you have one of those?

And someone in the family has just had to visit hospital again, she says.

RC: I am sure about the "okey" type name. If someone has one, I'm unaware of it.
Never an aunt with a "B", in childhood or now.
I did have a paddling pool.
As far as I know no family member is back in the hospital, though my family is big enough that I may be unaware of it (I assume we're not talking about the family member who works in a hospital).

ME: Gah! I?m struggling! Okay, one more attempt to get something before I give up.

The Auntie, I think, was a friend of your mother. The B could be a name or surname, I?m not sure. I?m being told you also used to play with the garden hose? Not just with the water, but also like being tied up with it.

And I?m getting a sens of returning to hospital, so has the family member who works in a hospital been on holiday recently? I?m getting a sense that this person went away and came back again.

RC: Mom was in the same room as me when I read this so I flat out asked her. She says she does not have any friend who has passed with a B as their name or surname.
And as far as I know, the Aunt who works in the hospital was not on vacation.

    Sorry

    Branflakes

(Like RichC I was a little handicapped by the fact I know something about Bran?s past. However, I got a little lucky, and this is a better reading than Rich?s (it couldn?t have been worse!) And don?t you just love my heart-warming message at the end?)

ME: Hello, Brandi. Hope your well. I?m fine. Thanks for agreeing to the whole reading thing. I?ll start now. Okay. I?m sensing a male on the other side of the same age as you. The same generation, at least. He?s telling me about Michael. Who?s Michael? There?s a connection to that name here. And also he saying you need to learn how to cook. Maybe that sounds a little rude, but have you been learning to cook properly or thinking about it? He says perhaps you should.

BRAN: Well, no, no Michael in my life at the moment (though I've known a few in the past).
As for cooking...I handle the cooking for gf and I and am always looking for new dishes to create.

ME: Okay, this guy is telling me you both knew Michael, and this would be a few years back. This was when you were living in the flat you didn?t like with the heating that didn?t work properly. The cooking is a new thing for you? You never bothered that much when you were single, is that right? Because I?m being shown these pots and pans and they all look new. He?s telling me it?s a new talent, and you?re quite proud of it. And do you have a stuffed toy that sits in the kitchen? Up on a shelf? And do you like to cook alone? I mean without anyone interfering.

BRAN: No stuffed animal in the kitchen. Yes, I prefer not to be interfered with while cooking. Didn't know a Michael while in the flat with heating problems. Interest in cooking is relatively recent.

ME: I?m still seeing an animal in the kitchen. Maybe it?s like a statue or picture, but there?s some animal thing there. Also, there?s something broken in the kitchen, is that right? Something you should really replace, but it kind of works, so you stick with it. In fact, I just realised: this is the old kitchen in the flat with the heating problems.

There?s an important date for you in October or on the 10 th of a month, because I?m being shown a ten. And there?s something about you doing a training course. Not participating, but actually training someone else. Is that a recent thing?

BRAN: Kitchen in flat with heating problem had a cow picture hanging on the wall (was my grandmother's). Microwave sort of worked (VERY loud). Have recently replaced it.
Training: friend is being a temp receptionist at work this week. We worked on how to do something today.
10th: my gf's birthday is the 10th of April.
ME: The grandmother - the one who owned the picture - she?s passed now, hasn?t she? I feel she?s coming through. She was brought through by the other spirit who?s pulling back now. He?s saying ?MR? as he fades, so I think those are the initials of the mutual friend. And your grandmother passed a while ago. She?s showing me a boy, brown hair, round face, big eyes. Who would that be? Who was the small boy in the family when she was around?

Is there a favourite dish that you cook? I?m being shown pasta, so would that be the kind of food you do well?

BRAN: Yes, grandma has passed, ten years ago this year. No small boy, though (all her grandkids were teenagers or older when she passed). Hm, could be my other grandma, also passed long ago, had a very young grandson when she passed.
"MR" could be Micheal Roone, a friend I'm no longer in tough with.
While I fix pasta at least once a week, I'm better at baking fish.

ME: About the boy, you have to remember I?m old (I feel like it, anyway) so small boy could be as much as thirteen or fourteen. And I don?t know if you know this, but did your grandmother used to sing? Was she the singer in the family? Maybe there?s more than one, but she?s definitely telling me she sang.

Are you the hoarder? You?ve kept all kinds of stuff from all times of your life? Now she?s telling me about the clear-out. Either you?ve done this or are thinking about it, but she?s talking about feeling hemmed in by the stuff you?ve accumulated. But she?s says it?s good to let stuff go sometimes. You can?t keep a souvenir of everything. That?s one things she?s learnt: that material possessions don?t define your life and who you are. You do.

BRAN: Still no on the boy. Just nothing on that one. *shrug*
The grandma I know best didn't sing. To my knowledge, neither did my other one.
And, yes, I'm a horrible hoarder. Not as bad as I could be, gf keeps me in line. Don't know that I feel a need to get rid of things now, gf and I did some clearing out a few months ago. Hope that helps, the readings have been fun

    Crazy A

(Tricky one, this. Most of the hits are quite vague or not really spot on, but need a little stretching to match what I say to what Crazy A knows.)

ME: The spirit I have coming through for you is a male of the generation above yours, like an uncle, father-in-law. I don?t think it?s your grandfather unless he?s got the J-o name like Joe or John, because that?s also coming through. And what?s the parallel in birthday?s in the family? There?s two birthdays that are very close together, or have the same date of the month like they?re both on the 14th or something.

CRAZY: J-o scheme for an older male: No. (But close, in regards to my grandfather.)
Birthdays close together: Yes. Check it out....
    me: Jan. 30
    mom: Feb. 17
    my oldest son: June 9
    my oldest daughter: June 18
    dad: July 6
    brother: July 21
    my youngest son: July 24
    wife: Oct. 22
    my youngest daughter: Oct. 14.

ME: Okay, so that?s a big hit on the birthday thing. They?re talking about your daughter?s birthday, which is why I said 14, which is just coming up. Have you started making arrangements for a party? I don?t know how old she is, but did someone suggest hiring a clown? They?re telling me ?Don?t do the clown!?

And it must be your grandfather who?s coming through, if he?s got the J name. It?s quite vague. Did he pass a while back? A good few years? And there?s a slowness of the mind near the end, like he was on medication or his thinking was clouded in some way. That?s what I?m getting.

CRAZY: plans for daughter's birthday involving a clown: No.
paternal grandfather: name doesn't have the "J"-o scheme; still alive.
maternal grandfather: died when I was in high school ('86 or '87); medication--not that I'm aware of; cloudy thinking--I THINK he had cancer, which may cause one not to think straight (he took a shotgun one day, stepped outside and "bang").

ME: Maybe the clown thing is something for the future, but someone will suggest a clown, perhaps as a joke, and they?re saying don?t do it. As for your maternal grandfather, he was an outdoors type of guy, wasn?t he? He went hunting, that kind of thing.

CRAZY: clown thing: possible but doubtful; although her class is going to the county fair tomorrow (barring a rain-out), so she may come in contact with one.
grandfather and the outdoors: yes; hunting, fishing, sitting outside and sipping a toddy.

ME: Okay, that explains the clown thing. They?re talking about the fair. I think there may be a raffle there of something, because they?re showing me the number 116. So that?s like 11-6 or 1-16. Some kind of combination of those numbers have a meaning, maybe there was something about that.

As for your grandfather, I?m seeing mountains and forests as well as the river. Did he have a house there, or one place he?d always go to? I don?t think you went hunting with him, though. Maybe once he taught you something about shooting, or you talked about guns, but you didn?t go hunting on anything like a regular basis with him. And he was a smoker too?

CRAZY: fair: didn't see a clown.
116: don't recall seeing anything of that nature. (ALTHOUGH...there will be a school make-up day on Nov. 26 [11-26].)
grandfather: he had some property out in the county that I think he would do some fishing and hunting and bushhogging. I did go with him on a hunting trip, but I had some cousins with me and we played King of the Mountain. I never really got into hunting and any liking I had for fishing eventually disappeared. And yes, he smoked.

ME: About your daughter?s birthday, did you get her the horse-related thing? Or were there horses at the fair that she participated in? They?re linking horses to your daughter. And they?re also telling me about an argument in a queue? They?re saying they were with you when there was that argument in the queue.

And also, this?ll sound weird, but was there an occasion where you smelt his cigarette smoke? This was quite clear, and you even looked round to see if he was there? When did that happen?

CRAZY: horse: no horse-related thing for her birthday; she did, however, get on a horse on the merry-go-round at the fair and there were some ponies at the entrance to the fairgrounds.
    argument in a queue: no
    grandfather's cig smoke: no

ME: Okay, I?ll think I?ll start to wrap up things now. If I was a TV medium I?d say this was your grandfather letting you know he was with you at the fair, and let editing take care of the rest. I?ve reached the same part of the reading that I did with Branflakes: any more questions would be about things I already know about. With a hunting background, I may be tempted to ask about a military link in the family, which I already know about, so that?s no good.
